Il workshop si svolge a Valvasone (PN) dove si trova l’organo costruito a Venezia da Vincenzo Colombi tra il 1532 e il 1533. Un'opportunità unica per strumentisti di suonare con l'unico organo rinascimentale veneziano rimasto a noi. Lo scopo del corso è di ricostruire un intero ensemble di strumenti al diapason dell'organo Colombi (LA=ca. 493 Hz.), avvicinandosi al repertorio veneziano del XVI e XVII secolo. Oltre alla musica d’insieme, i partecipanti avranno la possibilità di confrontarsi con un repertorio solistico a scelta. Useranno esclusivamente il sistema rinascimentale basato sul trombone tenore in LA. Il corso è pensato per musicisti che abbiano già esperienza con strumenti storici: professionisti, semi-professionisti, studenti e amatori di livello avanzato. È prevista la collaborazione con costruttori di strumenti. Verrà selezionato un gruppo composto da un minimo di 3 e un massimo di 7 partecipanti. I partecipanti interessati che desiderano ulteriori informazioni sono invitati a contattare direttamente il docente.
Prerequisiti per partecipare al corso
Saranno accettati tutti gli iscritti fino ad esaurimento dei posti disponibili, a discrezione del docente.
Il corso utilizza lo storico ed eccezionale organo cinquecentesco (1532-1533) di Vincenzo Colombi nella Chiesa Parrocchiale di Valvasone, e anche l'organo positivo seicentesco della Chiesa dei Ss. Pietro e Paolo.

n advanced workshop in historical trombone at 493 Hz.
A unique opportunity for instrumentalists to work closely with the only surviving Venetian organ of the Renaissance. The workshop takes place in the town of Valvasone in the Friuli region of Italy, home to an organ built by the Venetian workshop of Vincenzo Colombi between 1532 and 1533. The scope of the course is to reconstruct an entire instrumental ensemble, studying and performing the repertoire of 16th and 17th-century Venice at the pitch of the Colombi organ: a=ca. 493 Hz. In addition to ensemble playing, participants will focus on solo repertoire. The workshop will use exclusively the renaissance system based on tenor trombone in A. The course is designed for participants who already have experience with historical instruments: professionals, semi-professionals, advanced-level students, advanced amateurs. There are no age limits. A group consisting of minimum 3 and maximum 7 participants will be selected. Cooperation with instrument builders is being planned. All interested participants that would like further information are encouraged to directly contact the teacher.
Prerequisites to attend the course
All the students who wish to attend the class will be accepted subject to availability of places and at the discretion of the teacher.
The course uses the historic and exceptional sixteenth-century organ (1532-1533) by Vincenzo Colombo in the Parish Church of Valvasone, and also the seventeenth-century positive organ of the Church of Ss. Pietro e Paolo.
